New construction, conversion and expansion of the Neckar-Alb printing center. Merger of 7 publishing houses (including GEA Reutlingen, Schwäbisches Tagblatt Tübingen, etc.) for the joint production of 215,000 copies per day.
The goal was to meet the functional requirements of newspaper production with the simplest and most cost-effective construction method possible. To achieve high workplace quality and acceptance, great emphasis was placed on a bright and airy work environment with views to the outside. The consistent color scheme of the building and machine components is an integral part of the company's corporate identity. The construction project is divided into new construction and renovation areas, the construction sequence of which had to be aligned with the requirements of daily newspaper delivery.
