On July 1, 1998, the Ordinance on Safety and Health Protection on Construction Sites "Construction Site Regulations"came into force.
This ordinance applies to all construction sites where the expected duration of the work exceeds 30 working days and more than 20 workers are employed simultaneously, or where the total volume of work is expected to exceed 500 person-days.
This ordinance applies to all construction sites where the expected duration of the work exceeds 30 working days and more than 20 workers are employed simultaneously, or where the total volume of work is expected to exceed 500 person-days.
For such construction sites—and it can generally be assumed that these conditions are met from the scale of a single-family house onwards—a “prior notice” must be submitted to the competent labour inspection authority no later than two weeks before the establishment of the construction site. Furthermore, a health and safety plan must be prepared, and site safety must be coordinated throughout the execution of the construction project.
Based on our experience in planning, construction management, and project management, we are able to efficiently integrate occupational health and safety requirements into both the planning and tendering phases, as well as into day-to-day construction site operations.
We would be pleased to provide you with non-binding advice on the services required for your construction project in accordance with the Construction Site Ordinance and to prepare an individual offer for our services as Safety and Health Coordinator SiGeKo.
