Townhouse „Building cooperative 48° 31` N / B1, Alte Weberei, Tübingen (BW)

Architecture
Appropriate, timeless and sustainable

The building is oriented southeast/southwest, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere in the rooms from sunrise to sunset. Large, light-filled apartments with generous glazing are located on a single level (concept: privacy of a single-family home).
Barrier-free, step-free access from the underground parking garage via the elevator to the apartment and balcony/terrace. The floor plans can be customized almost individually, taking into account the requirements for sound insulation and short utility runs (water, sewage, electrical). The number and size of the rooms, as well as the size and features of the bathrooms/toilets, can be tailored to the client's wishes.

Energy concept
Living by the water and being close to nature are the property's key advantages. These qualities should not be compromised by excessive technical standards and unnecessary costs. Therefore, it was decided to plan the building as a KfW Efficiency House 70. Features such as triple glazing, a favorable surface area to volume ratio, connection to the SW Tübingen district heating network, and, if necessary, a ventilation system with heat recovery, etc., will sustainably enhance the building and make it attractive to the market in the future.

Special feature
Workshop for the residents in the basement, common room (e.g. music such as drums, etc.)
The core concept is defined within the community.
