The house underwent partial energy-efficiency upgrades, in particular the replacement of all old windows with new, highly insulated windows (triple glazing) with burglar protection. The existing bay window (formerly a balcony) on the upper floor on the south side, with its outdated glazing, was completely redesigned and also fitted with new windows (lift-and-slide windows) and a glass balustrade.
The spacious self-contained apartment (approx. 140 m²) on the garden level has been completely redesigned and expanded to include the former wellness area with indoor pool and sauna. The newly landscaped garden is accessed via the redesigned kitchen/dining area (formerly the indoor pool) through the new, generously sized lift-and-slide door. The apartment was designed to be barrier-free. All windows have been fitted with new, external, electric sunshades. High standard.
