New residential building (55 units) with underground car park and daycare centre (U3/Ü3), Böblingen (BW)

The project comprises two residential buildings with 55 apartments and 1 daycare center (U3/Ü3, distributed across 3 groups).

Of the 55 apartments, 26 in the linear building and 29 in the point building were completed according to plan, on schedule and within budget.
The building contains 8 two-room rental apartments, 16 three-room rental apartments and 2 four-room rental apartments.
The tower block contains 1 one-room rental apartment, 13 two-room rental apartments, 13 three-room rental apartments and 2 four-room rental apartments.
Seventeen rental apartments were built as subsidized housing, while 26 of the privately financed apartments were rented to the city of Böblingen. Naturally, the required "barrier-free accessible and usable" apartments according to DIN 18040-2 were also demonstrated.
23 underground parking spaces have been created in the basement for the residents of the tower block; further parking spaces required under building regulations have been created in the nearby neighborhood garage (also planned by our office up to phase 2, from phase 3 onwards taken over by the general contractor).
The rooms for the three-group daycare center were also made available to the city of Böblingen.

The planned building component designs achieve enhanced sound insulation values according to DIN 4109:2016. Connection to the district heating network of the city of Böblingen. The requirements of the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV 2016) are met.

The project is part of the "Diezenhalde" district, which represents a nationwide milestone in the field of existing urban areas. The project was developed in collaboration with our client. DGNB certified in Gold.
